Geraldine Hernandez-Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

Geraldine Hernandez is a first-generation Latina, proudly born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development with a minor in Public Justice from the State University of New York at Oswego. Committed to making a positive impact on children’s lives, Geraldine furthered her education by completing her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in School Counseling at Fordham University Graduate School of Education.

Motivated by a passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves, Geraldine has provided individual, group, and family therapy services to diverse members of the community. Her experience includes working with high-risk youth, adolescents, and adults dealing with trauma, depression, and suicidal ideation. Geraldine’s collaborative approach involves working closely with her clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address their social, emotional, and mental needs effectively.
